Diwali is the most popular and biggest festival of India. Diwali is celebrated by Hindus all over the world. The festival is also known as Deepawali which meansrow of lamps. Diwali is celebrated every year in the month of October or November. On this day, people light up their houses and workplaces with diyas and candles. They also exchange gifts with their family and friends. Diwali is the festival of lights and it is celebrated to mark the victory of good over evil. The festival is also celebrated to commemorate the return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile. Diwali is celebrated with great pomp and show all over India. On this day, people clean their houses and decorate them with lights and flowers. They also wear new clothes and exchange diwali shayari and gifts with their loved ones. 26 January Shayari Diwali is a five-day festival and each day has a different significance. The first day is known as Dhanteras and on this day, people worship Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity. The second day is known as Naraka Chaturdashi and on this day, people worship Lord Krishna, the destroyer of evil. The third day is the main Diwali day and on this day, people worship Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha. The fourth day is known as Govardhan Puja and on this day, people worship Lord Krishna. The fifth day is known as Bhai Dooj and on this day, people worship Lord Krishna and his sister Subhadra. Diwali is a very important festival for Hindus and it is celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm all over India.
